Susan Serra, CKD was one of a select group of 17 design professionals worldwide invited to participate in Cosentino's report on "The Home Kitchen in the Globalization Era" including insight into global trends and uses of the kitchen and its role in the home of the future. Discussion at a panel event in NYC followed following publication of the report, distributed around the globe.
In 2018 Susan Serra was invited to design (and execute the installation of) the personal kitchen of Lorenzo Marquez, The Chairman of NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and his family in Houston, TX following extensive damage in their home from Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
